I have been professionally communicating for over 15 years in both written and visual form.

 

My focus as a technical communicator is to assist users who need information on using products, completing tasks, or completing other types of activities. I write information that is clear, concise, and relevant to users so that I can improve customer satisfaction and optimize their time.

 

My focus as a visual designer is to be aware that the interpretation of images is subjective; therefore, it is my responsibility to understand the depth of meaning, or multiple meanings, communicated in an image.  We use visual communication to navigate and understand the world through such artifacts as packaging, signs, logos, leaflets, books, manuals, and advertisements. I aim for visual communication that has a purpose or objective, created with the intention of resonating with a predefined audience or user.

 

I am always learning and growing, looking to improve or expand my skill set. I have a knack for picking up new skills quickly, which makes me highly adaptable and able to begin contributing within a short timeframe.
