Visual Communication
Visual communication is a precursor to structured speech and to understand the meaning of design, is to understand how form and content can represent opinion and commentary.
I create with the knowledge that design is much more than simply assembling visuals together. To design is to give order, value, and meaning to an image that can speak to an audience often in a way that words cannot.

Mr. Hartwell requested a prominent image of John Lennon so that anyone glancing at the book would immediately know it was him. Other than that, I was given creative freedom to interpret his vision.
